Synthesis and luminescence properties of Eu3+ and Tm3+-doped ZnNb2O6 nanocrystals by the sol–gel process were investigated. The products were characterized by differential thermal analysis (DTA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL). ZnNb2O6:Eu3+ shows bright red luminescence with maximum peak at 613 nm attributed to 5D0 → 7F2 transition. The major blue emission peak of ZnNb2O6:Tm3+ was at 483 nm, corresponding to the transitions 1G4 → 3H6. The optimum concentration of Eu3+ and Tm3+ showing the maximum PL intensity was 4 mol% and 1 mol%, respectively.  相似文献

Excitation-emission matrix (EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy is a noninvasive method for tissue diagnosis and has become important in clinical use. However, the intrinsic characterization of EEM fluorescence remains unclear. Photobleaching and the complexity of the chemical compounds make it difficult to distinguish individual compounds due to overlapping features. Conventional studies use principal component analysis (PCA) for EEM fluorescence analysis, and the relationship between the EEM features extracted by PCA and diseases has been examined. The spectral features of different tissue constituents are not fully separable or clearly defined. Recently, a non-stationary method called multi-dimensional ensemble empirical mode decomposition (MEEMD) was introduced; this method can extract the intrinsic oscillations on multiple spatial scales without loss of information. The aim of this study was to propose a fluorescence spectroscopy system for EEM measurements and to describe a method for extracting the intrinsic characteristics of EEM by MEEMD. The results indicate that, although PCA provides the principal factor for the spectral features associated with chemical compounds, MEEMD can provide additional intrinsic features with more reliable mapping of the chemical compounds. MEEMD has the potential to extract intrinsic fluorescence features and improve the detection of biochemical changes.  相似文献

Ultrafine-grained (UFG) Mg-3Al-1Zn (AZ31) alloys with gain sizes ranging from 0.46 to 3.22 μm were prepared by equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) and annealing. The deformation structure of UFG AZ31 alloy resulting from uniaxial compression was studied by optical and electron microscopy. The deformation was noted to proceed with the development of shear bands (SBs), which has not been reported in an UFG hcp metal. Characterization of these SBs was performed, and comparison with the SBs formed in UFG bcc and fcc metals was given. { 10[`1]2} \{ 10\bar{1}2\} tension twins inside SBs were found in all specimens compressed, irrespective of the grain size. Discussion on the limiting grain size of twinning in the UFG AZ31 alloy is also given.  相似文献

Abstract

The effects of buoyancy forces on the laminar boundary layer flow and heat transfer along vertically moving cylinders are analyzed for the cases of prescribed surface temperature and prescribed wall heat flux in power of streamwise distance. Local similarity solutions are obtained to show the effects of buoyancy parameters and the transverse curvature of the cylinder on the surface friction and heat transfer rate.  相似文献

A novel anthraquinone‐containing bis(ether amine) monomer, 2,6‐bis(4‐aminophenoxy)anthraquinone, was synthesized from readily available reagents. A series of novel aromatic polyimides were prepared from the newly synthesized diamine monomer with various aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydrides. The intermediate poly(amic acid)s had inherent viscosities of 0.67–1.12 dL g?1, and those derived from less stiff dianhydrides could be solution‐cast and thermally cyclodehydrated into flexible and tough polyimide films. The polyimides exhibited glass transition temperatures between 270 and 297 °C, and they were fairly stable up to a temperature of 500 °C in air or nitrogen. The electrochemical and electrochromic properties of one of the polyimides were investigated. The polymer could undergo two reversible steps of electrochemical reduction, with a color change from a colorless neutral state to pink and rose‐red reduced states. © 2012 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

In the early stage of a design process, it is important to create numerous and varied possible color plans for the target consumer group. These color plans help individual designers quickly find a few good color design schemes and give the design team ideas for brainstorming. The color plan of a product consists of the color combinations of its components and decorative patterns, which strongly influence the feelings of customers and thus their desire to purchase. However, very few studies have discussed these issues. In this study, a consultation and simulation system for product color planning that helps designers obtain the optimal color planning for components and decorative patterns of a product is proposed. This system includes two parts: one uses the interactive genetic algorithm to establish a creative evolutionary system that can interact with a designer to explore novel design schemes; the other extends the boundary extract algorithm to establish a color simulation system that can apply colors to the areas of product components and decorative patterns for color simulation. Telemedicine is evolving into an important tool in delivering services to emergency departments (EDs) in rural areas. However, we do not yet know what kinds of services can be effectively delivered or the degree to which these services might be useful. In this pilot study, a high-speed, high-quality video, 24-hour ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) network linked a rural ED to an ED of a major medical center. The objective was to measure the utilization of telemedical consulting services. BACKGROUND: The focus of this paper is the ultrasound‐assisted synthesis of caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) from caffeic acid and phenyl ethanol in a continuous packed‐bed bioreactor. Immobilized Novozym® 435 (from Candida antarctica) is used as the catalyst. A three‐level–three‐factor Box–Behnken design and a response surface methodology (RSM) are employed to evaluate the effects of temperature, flow rate, and ultrasonic power on the percentage molar conversion of CAPE. RESULTS: Based on ridge max analysis, it is concluded that the optimum condition for synthesis is reaction temperature 72.66 °C, flow rate 0.046 mL min?1, and ultrasonic power 1.64 W cm?2. The expected molar conversion value is 97.84%. An experiment performed under these optimal conditions resulted in a molar conversion of 92.11 ± 0.75%. The enzyme in the bioreactor was found to be stable for at least 6 days. CONCLUSIONS: The lipase‐catalyzed synthesis of CAPE by an ultrasound‐assisted packed‐bed bioreactor uses mild reaction conditions. Robust and effective optic disc detection is a necessary processing component in automatic retinal screening systems. In this paper, optic disc localization is achieved by a novel illumination correction operation, and contour segmentation is completed by a supervised gradient vector flow snake (SGVF snake) model. Conventional GVF snake is not sufficient to segment contour due to vessel occlusion and fuzzy disc boundaries. In view of this reason, the SGVF snake is extended in each time of deformation iteration, so that the contour points can be classified and updated according to their corresponding feature information. The classification relies on the feature vector extraction and the statistical information generated from training images. This approach is evaluated by means of two publicly available databases, Digital Retinal Images for Vessel Extraction (DRIVE) database and Structured Analysis of the Retina (STARE) database, of color retinal images. The experimental results show that the overall performance is with 95% correct optic disc localization from the two databases and 91% disc boundaries are correctly segmented by the SGVF snake algorithm.  相似文献
